LIMITED WARRANTY
Millwork (Components)
Century Specialty Windows warrants its wood, prefinished poly clad and primed polyurethane components to be of quality workmanship and material and to be free of defects, which might render it unserviceable. Natural variations in color or texture are not defects. All millwork should be inspected upon arrival and before installation and finishing.
We agree to replace, at no charge, any defective item, for the period of one year. Century Specialty Windows cannot, under any conditions, be responsible for repainting, refinishing, installing or other similar activities. It will be the homeowner's responsibility to complete the replacement.
Hardware
While all window hardware is manufactured by others, it is Century Specialty Windows policy to provide a warranty against defect or error in workmanship. Replacement of defective hardware will be supplied free of charge within one year after sale. Century Specialty Windows, however, cannot, under any conditions, be responsible for installation, repainting, refinishing, or other similar activities. It will be the homeowner's responsibility to complete the replacement.
Insulated Glass
All insulated glass is warranted against failure of the air seal (condensation in between the glass) for a period of ten years from the date of manufacture. Should there be failure of the air seal within the warranty period, Century Specialty Windows shall supply either the insulated glass only or the insulated glass in sash at Century Specialty Windows option. Century Specialty Windows cannot, under any circumstances, be responsible for installation, repainting, refinishing, or other similar activities necessary to complete the replacement. It will be the homeowners' responsibility to complete the replacement.
Cracked or broken glass is not covered by the warranty.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ALL SUCH OTHER WARRANTIES, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. ALL SUCH OTHER WARRANTIES, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAWS, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED BY SUPER SPECIALTY WINDOWS, INC. ANY LIMITED WARRANITES WHICH ARE NOT EXCLUDED HEREBY DUE TO OPERATION OF LAW ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN FOR THE PRODUCT WARRANTED.
THE REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES PROVIDED HEREUNDER AND CENTURY SPECIALTY WINDOWS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY FURTHER LOSS, DAMAGES, OR EXPENSES, INCLUDING INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY ARISING FROM THE USE OF ITS PRODUCTS.
